Admins/mods I have made a separte topic because this isn't really related to my last one. Feel free to remove it.

My 7watt heat mat arrived today. I plugged it in but its taking a while to gain heat?

How long does your heat mats take to reach the specific heat that you want?

For example how long would it take to reach 28oc/29oc?

Same as a I've it will feel warm shortly. Try putting something on it flat t
Like a tile or a plate or a book. They are contact heats and will warm up better touching something x

It probably will be almost there, their environment temperature is lower than our body temp so it wont feel that warm to us

I can't measure the temp just yet, the habistat is in the post but from what i felt the temp was only slightly warm after 20mins

Should take about half hour to an hour to reach that. How are you measuring the temp?
