That's excellent news, what progress Pheonix has made

Oh yes he definitely made me jump, I just didn't think he would strike so soon, especially after just taking food from the tongs for the first time. I can't wait for his first constrict, He's already building up his muscles and getting stronger when I handle him

I bet you were surprised when he striked I know I was when slink first took the food by striking! I love the idea of the snakes "losing" their food when coiling around it! Haha

Well done, Phoenix :-)

Herriotfan, loosing mouse in their own coils sounds familiar - typical Bazilishka. Or, every now and then, she puts a coil over the mouse's nose, then frantically searches the mouse, back and forward, can't find the nose, no matter how many times she goes over. And then I get the "injured" look, but woe betide you, if you try to point the nose out... :-)

Well done Phoenix! I bet he made you jump !!
I love watching my snakes feeding.
They make me chuckle how they strike and constrict.
I've got a couple that often 'loose' their mouse in the tangle they coil themself into while constricting and they look at me as if it's my fault.....

That's fantastic Natalie !! He really is moving on fast....taking it from the tongs last feed and now striking. I bet it made you jump! Something definitely to be proud about .

Xxx
