Posted - 24/03/2013 : 08:02:03 hi all just wanting to know as im looking at getting a new snake soon and was thinking of getting a caramel can someone let me know if they are always dark coloured when they are young and then get lighter or if i should be looking for a light colour to begin with as iv been looking at lots of pictures on ian's site and all the pictures of hatchlings are a dark reddish colour |

Posted - 25/03/2013 : 18:57:16 ha-ha yes I know I went looking for a site that listed the different morphs and now I have a massive wants list I don't think ill be just wanting another 1 at this rate. thanks for all the replys I just wasn't sure as i had looked at all the different pictures on the internet and saw so many variations so wanted to be sure I get the one I want as this is my late Xmas present from my partner and I cant wait |

Posted - 25/03/2013 : 09:38:31 You made me venture onto that terribly dangerous site, Iansvivarium, to look into this Jane ! Once you're on there you can't help looking at all the different morphs and before you know it you've got a wish list that's GOT to be fulfilled .

Dan's progression thread is brilliant, as it'll really show you how one particular caramel changes as it grows.....and it is a particularly beautiful caramel .

Posted - 24/03/2013 : 11:18:42 Yep, they start off looking anery with a dash of yellow on their heads, and the yellow spreads down their body, and the black/brown saddles turn a lighter brown...
Progress of my CB11 snakes, one of which is a caramel. Shots from 2 months old to recently.
