Last night we had a break in to my animal room and several of my snakes and geckos were taken. If possible, could people please keep an eye out as most have distinct appearances and are not hugely common. I am in the Enfield area of North London, so others local please be aware for your pets!

I had two snakes, 5 crested geckos and 5 electric blue geckos stolen...

1. Comanche, tessera corn snake, she was born in 2011 but is a little on the small side for her age but still very chunky. She is about 16inches long

2. Diablo, normal royal python, he was born in early 2012 and has a slight joining of the pattern on his back, and is about 14inch long and very slightly chubby

3. Altair, male crested gecko, fires up black and cream, is greyer in daytime, has a missing tail tip and very large crests

4. Arcturus, male crested gecko, fires up dark yellow or red, brownish in daytime. Has distincttive "snub" nose

4. Adhara, female crested gecko, dark chocolate and yellow-cream fired, pale brown and yellow, unfired. Yellow is very bright like a highlighter pen and she is very large for a crestie and has an optical illusion of having a kinked tail

5. Blondie, young unsexed crested gecko, fires black and yellow with pinstripe, slightly lighter unfired, tailless

6. Alphecca, male crested gecko, very distinctive yellow and brown markings, thin lines of brown on spines

7. 5 electric blue geckos, two male and three female, pics taken when colours not brightest, males were very bright blue with yellow bellies, females a greenish colour with brown/yellow bellies. Only 10cm long

please either PM me or email me at joyfulhedgehogs@live.com with any information

thank you everyone...

There are a few wanted ads up already but still no news anywhere ... terrible, Diablo had only just started feeding properly, Comanche was growing like mad. Two of my female cresties who had been with two of the stolen boys look like they may have eggs so perhaps I can at least keep a little part of the lost ones :(

Good idea, I'm happy to try this if Hayley says yes- only problem is, most people who know me know I'm not into lizards.

Would happily do a wanted ad for the tessera and royal though.

And if I finds them, I keeps them..... yessssss........

I was just thinking the same thing scottishbluebird. Where I live most of these herps are not available for sale legally (the Isle of Man), so I was thinking of doing the same.

angriesthedgehog, would you mind me doing that, and if so, which would you like me to ask for, that you could identify the easiest?

I did post on my exotics group and included your email so that if anyone hears anything they can contact you.

Blimey Hayely, I'm so sorry.

You know I'm in your area so I'll keep an eye around here and also on RFUK.

That is awful :(

I've cross posted your entire message to the forum on Ians Vivarium and put up an announcement that shows on every single forum and morph guide page, and will also put word out on our FB page. Hopefully someone will see it that knows something.

thanks everyone, no signs so far :/
Foxtrotsierra Posted - 24/03/2013 : 07:34:37
I am so so sorry to hear about that, although I agree with what others have said, the thieves sure knew what they were going for. Everything crossed for their safe return.
mrsbunt Posted - 23/03/2013 : 20:18:08
I hope they are all found safe and sound, what an awful thing to do to someone
Auld Baldy Posted - 23/03/2013 : 18:11:10
Scumbags! Darkside post now circulating on FB. Hope you get the beasties back safe.
Razee Posted - 23/03/2013 : 16:48:37
Oh no, that's horrible, you must be devastated. It seems to me like those idiots must have known, what they were going for.
I was going to say to post this on the dark side - but then I saw you already have. The only other think I can think about would be contacting reptile dealers, if you know any.
I really hope you get your animals back, safe and sound. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Hope you get them back safe and sound and the thieves get strung up
