I took my first corn snake (which i had last monday) back to the pet shop as he informed me it was a shy eater and wouldnt really suit me for a first corn, he gave me one that shed thursday and ate 2 pinkies friday, he told me my faunt might be too big for it so im having to leave it in the container it came in till he grows. Is a 48x31x18 faun too big for a baby corn?

I was only gonna give him the 1 pinkie by leaving it outside his hide that way he wont be disturbed :)

I'd leave him the full week to settle in before offering a feed

As long as he has loads of cover he'll no doubt be fine. If you are worried, stick a few toilet roll tubes in to pack it out with extra hiding places ;)

And in the big faun i have 2 hides a small silk plant, and a carboard tunnel i made out of kitchin foil packaging, but round the sides of the faun ive got kitchen roll so he cant really see out i did this to see if my first corn would eat and tried it with this one to see if he felt safe,

Hes still only a baby but id say hes easily a foot in lenth, he came in one of the boxes that you get crickets in, this morning i changed his kitchen paper in his little tub as he had pooed every where to do this i put him in the big faun, he just explored then hid in the hide with his head poking out and gave me the looke i think ill stay here now daddy :p

I have Emrys in the same size faun, but he only moved into it 2 weeks ago. I started him off in a 7"x 7"x 7" small exo terra breeder box. What size is the container he came in? How old/big is he? If you have plenty of cover in your faun, I really don't see it being a problem.
