You may remember my boy had a regurge a couple of week's a go which I'd put down to my heat mat losing heat but after leaving the 10 days, another small feed with no probs I've again fed an adult mouse which is in the 1.5 times his thickest part with another regurge which can only mean the prey is too big, so will be dropping back to smaller. Just abit disappointed it happened twice poor fella

You should take 3-4 feeds at the smaller size weekly after a regurge and the up to normal and have a good couple of months at normal size and them up to higher if its time. IMO.

i had given a smaller feed after the first regurge with no problems and this feed was the week after so there's about 20 days between and all seemed fine

A regurge does mess up all the natutral levels in the stomach so you'd be best to leave him a couple of weeks before feeding again. Offer a mouse a couple of sizes smaller than normal for a few feeds and slowly build back up to his normal size. Hopefully that should solve his tummy troubles.

That's a shame. At least you know the cause of it though. Sounds like maybe you tried to build the sizes up a little quick too. When I have a regurge for whatever reason (happens quite rarely) I build back up to previous sized meals over several months as the bacteria levels and stomach acid etc has been affected by it in my opinion.
