Noticed my mat was losing heat and temp kept dropping so tried it without the stat and it still barely reached 25d so just spoke to the shop who's happy to replace it. Only had it about 5 weeks. Has anyone else ever had this trouble with mats ?

Glad you got it sorted. It's unusual for a mat to be faulty, so hopefully you'll have better luck with the new one

it was a microclimate, think about 6x10inches, one of the printed ones. Managed to change it yesterday and everything's back to normal now
