So both my Snakes have 'stopped' shedding

Kitty was shedding every 45days or so, Monster every 30.

Kitty's last shed was at the beginning of October (~100days ago) and Monster's was in September (~120 days ago)

Both of them are about a year and a half and I'm wondering 'Is this normal?' Is it just season and age?

Thanks

Kitty just went up to 10g 'hoppers'

Monster is taking Adults now (when I can get them) or 3x 10g hoppers.

Are they due to go up a food size?

It's probably all part of their master plan to give us something else to worry about

Glad to hear that it's not 'abnormal'

Still very unsettling that they've 'skipped' so many sheds so abruptly.

I was exactly the same as you - last winter, Bazil's sheds were really spaced out, and this year, Little T went 95 days without a shed, and yet has grown and put on lot of weight. I was starting to worry, why he wasn't shedding, as he's still under 2 years old... then he shed.
I think they can ease off a bit in winter, and like Auld had said, they shed less and less often , the older they get.

8 now sheds every 2 months rather than monthly now and he's 18 months old. Jinx although younger also sheds every 2 months but he seems to be growing very slowly.

They will shed less as they get older. My oldest Corn (about 7 years old) will shed maybe 2 or 3 times per year. All to do with decreasing growth rate as they age. Smallest sheds more often as it grows proportionately bigger than a 1 or 2 year old.
