Posted - 14/01/2013 : 22:00:36 I only use a 20" piece of dowel with my Carpet if he gets a bit over-enthusiastic at feeding time. I don't lift him with it, just use it to steer him away from my nose. |

I made it from 8mm stainless steel and machined a taper & ball on it, it's only small but I could easily make a screw on extension. I'm trying not to use it if I can, but have found he's less jumpy to get out if I use it. Although he has settled down, he can still get defensive until picked up |
