Peaches shed, she did it for the first time at home, wasn't expecting it till the end of the week and I'm so proud of her, she is happy and back to her normal self!! Went over to say good morning and there was this

So so excited, she was so happy when I picked her up, flicking her little tongue, tasting my arms lol. She is so silky smooth again!!!

Sorry I'm so excited I'm still a newbie lol

She's probably drinking at night when you're not watching.
I quite often find with mine that they enjoy a drink after I've had them out. I reckon all the exercise makes them thirsty...it's dry work slithering all over a mummy!
When I put them back I 'hover' by the water dish so they can drink if they want to.
However, not all snakes want to be seen drinking. Rest assured she will be drinking though.
Glad Ted's doing ok. They're proper characters when they get settled. I wouldn't worry too much about him feeding and drinking. Mine sometimes goes ages without food. Then they want to eat me out of house and home!!
Life is never dull with a pet or two.

Awwh awesome :) don't be sorry for being excited I have kept all my snake sheds too... I had to keep Dakotas first ever shed with me even though it was missing half the tail, I still have it (he used to have problems shedding but I have sorted it out now as he gets a damp hide) :D
I'm still excited for when galaxy sheds lol xD
And we'll done peaches for the great shed!!

I am proud as punch lol, got a quick question, I've never seen peaches drink, why won't she drink anything or is it that I'm missing it cos she does it at night? I've read other snakes drink after feeding but she doesn't, she is on 2 pinks every week

Ted is fine thanks, bit funny with his feeding, a few days he has eaten up to 10 crickets and then other days he has refused totally or had up to 3. :-/ guess he is still settling! He's so lovely, loves to investigate everything haha. He's not eating his veg at all either or drinking much, I keep dripping water on to his nose or the side of the viv and plants which he then licks up. Lol funny little boy.

Just posted on the other thread and asked you about the eye caps and tail before I saw this!
I'm so pleased for you. Don't apologise for being excited.....let you into a little secret, I still keep all my snake sheds, apart from the ones they poo in! It's great that you're so enthusiastic.
How is Ted doing?
Mumhols Posted - 11/12/2012 : 11:44:43

There are holes where they eyes go? But the tail tip is there?

Meant to say in the photo section, is the tail tip and eye caps on shed?
