Posted - 22/08/2012 : 00:11:28 Hi everyone. This is my first post.
I have just got myself a amel corn, he is 4 month old (I've had him for a month). The pet shop was feeding him twice a week on pinkies. ( Tuesday and Saturday). I've kept this up, He is eating them no problem. I was just wondering if this is not too much. ( 3 days then 4 days). I asked about feeding every five days but he said because he is so young I need to feed him twice a week. So if this is not too much, how long do I need to keep feeding him twice a week for, I don't want him to get overweight and start having problems.
Thanks for any help. Neil. |

Posted - 22/08/2012 : 00:44:00 Thanks Donnie. I thought that was abit much. Just with him saying I need to feed twice a week when they are so young. I will go to every five days. I'm new to all this, but loving it. Thanks again for your quick reply. Neil. |

Posted - 22/08/2012 : 00:20:22 Feeding him twice a week will not give his digestive system much time to recover before the next feed so you should be feeding 1 pinkie every 5 days. When 1 pinkie is not leaving much of a bump then feed 2 pinkies every 6 days. |
