Hi all, I just fed my 3 years old corn snake after 10 days when he shed out yesterday. The mouse was small and I thought it might be a good idea as he is over weight. But after I feeding he still seemed hungry and waiting to be fed and doesnt relax. What should I do? can I feed him another mouse today or should I wait? How long I need to wait before feed him again?
If the mouse be small, does it cause any problem for them?

If he is overweight and you are putting him on a diet then stick to the smaller mouse every 7 days or 1 medium large every fortnight. Don't feed after just a couple of days even if he 'seems' still hungry and hunting for more. The exercise will do him more good. 
Keep a record of his weight. Once a month before feeding will give you an idea of progress.
Any pics to show his spare tyre? Length and currentt weight would help with suggestions.

Actually this is the way that he is! He usually hide after feeding for couple of days but this time he is out and looking for more! I can see that obviously ;) I think I will wait few days and feed him again.

Wait a few days, to be honest when my guys were 3 they were on med/lrgs every 2 weeks.
I can tell they are full when they hide away for a few days after feeding, if they are out the next day (not pooping) then I know I havnt given them enough.
Just keep an eye on the old jiggy bits :P |

Thanks alot for the answer.
The mouse was really small. I've never seen him behave like this.
So it will not cause any problem if I give him another small mouse tonight or tomorrow, right?
Or should I wait few days before feed him agan? |

If he's overweight, he'll live if you feed him a bit less. In nature, snakes are opportunistic feeders - if they find more than one mouse, they will eat as much as they can because they don't know if they will find food again soon. That's why they will often keep looking for food even after they were fed.
I'd say, use your best judgement and make sure he doesn't over-eat ^^ |
