I a bit worried about handling my new snake she seam lightning fast compared to the other hatchie if u get near the rub shes in to her hide like a rocket wereas the other one i had to take back u could watch him in the rub and it wouldnt bother him i think this one may be a handfull when it comes round to handling

Oh this is the fun part, when they are little they tend to be speedy, while you get used to their speed its advisable to handle over a box just in case they get away from you they cant go far.

As to handling advice, the only advice I can give is get stuck in, they soon learn you're not going to hurt them and get used to your presence and dont leg it with quite so much speed.

jinx was a bit like this a first, i used to handle him over his faun so that if he did happen to take a leap of faith he would end up in his faun instead of disapearing off in the room! she'll soon settle down once she gets used to being handled and realises your not going to eat her!
