Just had Bangle out for a play and weigh. He is now 13mth old about 2 1/2ft long and now weighs 189g. It seems only a short while since he was a little wriggly worm lol

To be fair, Apollo has filled out a lot since I got him. He was quite thin to begin with and has gone from 17g to 36g in just over two months so I think he's doing quite well considering his bad start.

I don't really mind how big he is as long as he is healthy. Nice to know that hopefully it won't have affected him negatively in the long term though.

Sounds like Bangle is growing well.

Moppet i got an anery that was maintenance fed til he was 9mths old and he was like a piece of wire. He is now 14mths and is 2ft long and weighs about 90g but most of that has been put on in the last couple of months. He is now filling out instead of lengthening so Apollo will grow in time and with your good care.

Gosh, just shows you the difference between growth rates in snakes. Apollo is around that age and he is just over 1 1/2 feet and a tiddly 36g, although I think that is down to being fed a maintenance diet in a pet shop for 10/11 months.
