Posted - 31/07/2012 : 11:40:28 That Heat mat will be fine, personally wouldn't bother with combi temp/hum as corns have no specific requirement so savenyaself a few quid an just get temp one |

Posted - 31/07/2012 : 10:57:13 Thanks for all your replies, just one more question would the 7 watt heat mat be warm enough or should I be looking at a 12 watt and are the combined thermometer and hydro any good or should I buy separately. Thanks |

Look forward to seeing pics of your new addition, when you get him/her, settling in to its new home! |

Posted - 30/07/2012 : 21:18:02 Hi!
I'm a bit of a newbie but I've got the same stuff as you, make sure you get a couple of hides and a bit of plant cover, i've also got a thermo-hygrometer at my cold end, although the hygrometer part is not really needed for a corn, I was just worried as my house is quite damp.
There is a great sticky at the top of the general keeping info category, which I used to set up my new baby, had him for about 3 weeks now and seems to be eating and settling in fine.
I'm sure someone more experienced than me will be along in a bit |
