Gardening gloves!!
Put on gardening gloves to lift Ace so that i wasnt worried about the lifting and didnt hesitate. He was no bother at all! Didnt strike, didnt rattle tail. And after a minute he went to Morgan and chilled with her for 4-5 minutes and we put him back.
Am hoping this is the start of being able to handle him.
Had such a scare losing him and so glad to get him back that i reckon we need to make more of an effort!
Also soooooooooooooooooo glad l have you all to tell, as OH is just glowering at me everytime i mention him!

Im another one that calls the OH over when i feel nervous:) lol he just goes straight in, no hesitation and scoops her up. it does get better tho, trust me

i had a snake that just suddenly started snapping at me, so asked on here and they suggested putting something in the viv that smels of you..... maybe leaving the glove inside the viv may help things along
