Posted - 14/07/2012 : 19:09:03 Well, I had been calling him a she for about two months and I think he was offended by it!
He pooed on me and as he did I saw a hemipene! I don't know how often this happens but it's almost like he was thinking "Look, I'm not a girl!"
Sure it was a hemipene and looked at photos of popping to check. Looked just like them. Is it normal for male corns to show their bits when they poop?
Very excited as I thought I would have to wait until he was a bit bigger and get him probed. Yay! I can start buying him some future girlfriends now
I don't know his hets (or whether he has any) so it could be interesting to find out in the future (okay, so a long time in the future if I'm getting hachie females) but still exciting. |

Posted - 15/07/2012 : 00:32:48 I thought it was a little strange but I've only seen hemipenes once when pooing. Saw him poo on my bed and nothing popped out then. Maybe it could be because he was straining a little? He seems fine, his vent isn't open and popped right back in again afterwards. I've been googling it just to make sure it's not something wrong with him and so far just found lots of people asking if it is normal. |
