Posted - 12/07/2012 : 20:33:00 Probably a stupid question....but is it OK to keep a 5 month old snake in it's tank inside our 3ft viv with our other snake. When we got the 5 month old the guy said it would be OK, but I just wanted to double check to be on the safe side. |

Posted - 12/07/2012 : 21:58:11 will there still be enough room for the bigger snake? If you've got another enclosure anyway is there any need to put it inside another? |

Posted - 12/07/2012 : 21:27:44 It is always recommended to quarantine new snakes in a separate room for 3 months just in case they are carrying any nasties, so no, I would not put in the same viv. |

Posted - 12/07/2012 : 21:16:27 Ive done this temporarily before. I cant see a problem with it as long as the temps are right in both tanks and the little snake has good hides, might get stressed if the big snake goes on its tank and what not.
Probably best just to get another heat mat and have them separate, in my opinion |
