i have an old canon ixus 300, but no leads to connect to the computer, do think i will be able to buy new leads or get a card reader for the massive compact flash card, or is it better to get a new (but v cheap digital camera ?) beginning to get frustrated that i cant upload my pics quickly !! thanks

memory card reader for sure i never use the leads for my camera lol otherwise u have to go through all the rigmorale of the photo trasnfer wizard etc just pop out the card into the reader job done lol

I'd go for a card reader too I find them more useful, specially those multi card readers.

thanks Kev - the canons ok - one day i,ll update it (too much round here needs updating ha ha) but for now it does the job cheers for the help

If you are happy with the quality of your pics from the canon go for the card reader.
i picked one up on ebay for about £3 does the job. you will probably get the data cable for your
camera on there for about the same price.
