Posted - 21/06/2012 : 21:08:24 As you may have read Sid has turned out to be a lady after laying eggs. Now what I want to know is;
Is she likely to lay eggs every year now (she has never been with a male and never will)? Could this be a one off for laying eggs? Is there anyway I can tell if she is going to lay eggs? Could this be a clue as to her age, is this something that could have been triggered by her age?
Thank you x. |

Posted - 21/06/2012 : 21:29:16 What do you think about the age thing. She has grown quite a bit since we got her so could it be an age thing? Maybe if she is now around 3-4 years could this laying be triggered by this. We have no idea of her age, all I know is that she was rescued from a house but was not a hatchling. |

Posted - 21/06/2012 : 21:22:38 It is possible she will lay eggs every year/ every other year yes although it could also be a one off but I doubt it, think once the lay slugs they are kind of prone to it from what I have heard from others. Not much help I know but the only thing you can really do is see what happens in the next year or two. |
