Morning all :)

Just had a brainwave (no sniggers in the back) I remember people saying that the locks for vivs didnt fit between the glass, does this apply 2 vivexotics?

Thanks

Scaly

PMSL, I bet you're one of those people who park their car by ear.

Yes, they're not great lol. I almost put a large hole in the glass of the viv putting the water drinker back, thought it was open but no and heard a large bang as the bowl hit the glass

I'm going to put a couple of small loop-eyed screws into it and use it to attach some climbing bits. At the moment I have to dismantle the logs to get the large water dish out ... and I can never get them back in the same way. lol

im thinking of getting some garden canes for the viv, would that do the trick?

I've noticed that there can be a very slight sag with the VivExotic LX36 when they are stacked. This puts a tiny bit of twist on the runners and can close up the gap between the doors. I had to put in a bracing pole to lift the top panel a smidge to get the doors out for cleaning.

I have 2 x LX36 stacked on top of a custom 24" viv. This is just enough to slightly bow the base panel of the middle LX. I can live with it but anyone having problems can try wedging a tight fitting length of broom handle at the mid-point just behind the door overlap.

Thanks for that, it'd make good snakey climbing frame

Yeah right! I think you mean so a new snakey can go into his outgrown faun

I had trouble with the locks on both my vivexotic and new viv stack. I use Baldy's sucker wedge lock, and would give the clip lock a try if my eye sight was up to seeing it in the pic

Sounds good. Does your dad own a Vice? Could always use a vice to flatten it?

Easy I just put the kink on the railings out the front of my flat and hit it with hammer a few times to flatten it. Simples really. Just need something solid and thin enough to put it on to hit it against.
