Posted - 01/03/2012 : 11:24:21 So hang on, I'm just trying to suss this out - when you got him he'd shed once and been fed 5 times by the pet shop? And you thinks his hatch date is June 11. So those pics above were taken recently? Or when you first got him? I'm slightly confused by this post that is when we first got him and he escaped the tub they gave us. Because if that refers to the pics then he was definitely not a hatchie when you got him, but I could just be getting things wrong and you mean those photos are recent lol!

Posted - 26/02/2012 : 21:33:22 Yeah are you measuring the snake or the shed, the shed is always significantly longer than the snake thats just crawled out of it. What does it weight that should give a better idea of size.
The important thing in my opinion though is it looks healthy with a good body shape. |

Posted - 26/02/2012 : 21:19:27 Mine are yearlys and are just about 2 ft. For pick looks about 2ft. Mine were boh on a maintainence diet of one pinky a week so they are little for their age. So if he was 8 month and 2 ft that would make more sense. Can you get a pick of him with something a set size, like a ruler or a tape measure or even an a4 piece of paper x |

Posted - 26/02/2012 : 20:21:45 probably more 2ft. mines supposedly (been given) a year and a bit old. he's 3 ft and 325 g at last measure. probably round 1.5 years. |

We have the same laptop as you, just measured it and its 15"! So I do believe your corn in the photo is nearer 1.5 - 2 ft in length. |

Posted - 26/02/2012 : 14:40:23 tbh all snakes grow at their own growth rate. I would seriously question the age of yours though. I would think 2010 at least. Did you get hatch/shed/feed records when you bought it?? |
