I know dog people who flip out at his training methods, but frankly I think he's great :D

not seen that episode! sounds funny though! i did see an episode of ghost whisper with caeser in that was quite amusing. Victoria stewel is cool too although she does look more like a dominatrix! when we got our loony spanial we threatened to sent her to dog borstal!!lol

Victoria looks so strict, even in her teeny sports car, then those boots, dont think i not seen her in anything but black, looks like she should carry a horse whip!

Ooh I love that women! I never know what her name was, even though i've watched her programme a few times I never could remember. I don't have a dog so I don't watch dog training programmes very often. I like Caesar and I like the lady one! They both have different pros and cons! If I ever had a badly behaved dog I would get one of those dudes in pretty quick!!

I havent seen her work yet I shall keep my eye out!

Have to say I'm not a great cesar milan fan, i much prefer to watch victoria stilwell as I like her positive training methods. Having said that I am always pretty dubious watching any of these kinds of programs as they are always only going to show you what they want you to see. They are good for getting ideas on how to deal with more common behaviour issues but the serious ones, like dog aggression, are much better to be dealt with by a trained behaviourist.

He has twitter, sometimes gives tips. @cesarmillan

Ive read a lot of bad things about him that i personally have put down to jealousy and from what ive seen he has brilliant skills and as i always say im a firm believer in that you only get out of a dog what you put in!

Caesar is cool, whats also interesting to see is that quite a few members of his pack are pit bulls which goes to show breed steriotypes aren' always justified!
Hissyfit Posted - 08/02/2012 : 20:13:14
Yes Caesar Milan is brilliant. I love seeing his pack of dogs, all so well behaved and lovely natured. I saw one of his shows last year about a terribly overweight dog, poor thing could hardly walk! He ended up taking it off the family and taking it home for several months, it was like a different dog when he'd finished with it
