Be warned, I have ordered a new DSLR, so I will be flooding the forum with pics of my family over the next few weeks  Also went for an obscene macro lens, so be expecting some interesting "guess which part" shots! I only hope to emulate some of the great photographers on here  Look forward to posting this weekend! |

I think that's the same one my hubby has, and he's been thrilled with it since he got it in July - he's got some fabulous photos! No macro though - looking forward to your pics! |

i use a uv filter as a lens protector i think i picked it up from ebay for 99p. cant wait to see the pics x |

I went for a midrange Canon, the 550D. Could have got a GREAT deal on a 7D, but decided it would have been overkill. Also nabbed a 100mm Macro! Could have got the 60mm happily, but the extra distance to the subject that the 100mm gives meant I didn't have to poke snakeys in the face to get pictures. Especially with a Rainbow Boa, I would have had to invest in some seriously scratch resistant covers!  And some dentures for the poor lass. |
