Feel the need to share my displeasure right now!
Its almost 1am, I'm tired and I just wanna go to bed cause I'm up early tomorrow. Walk into my room to be greeted by an absolute PONG of snake dump! Peer in to see that it is in fact on the heat mat. I then realise that I used the last of my gloves for feeding the other day so I grab a bit of kitchen roll off my desk. Turns out this is the wettest, hugest pile that has ever been left by a corn snake causing the kitchen roll to tear and my thumb to bury itself in the mess!
So then I go to the bathroom to wash my hands in disgust followed by the alcohol sanitising spray. What do I do then? Why I straight away stick my fingers in my eye to take out my contacts. OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCH.

I use nappy sacs as well, I usually have plenty around as I use them for dog poop as well.
You do have my sympathies as there is nothing worse than a bedroom that stinks of snake poo. |

I shovel the beardie poo but my corn viv is full of stuff so it's harder! And i just wanted to get it done ASAP cause bed was calling lol. |

I giggled sorry XD Could use them tampon/pad bags that are scented :P I love using a little shovel though :P

I use dog poop bags lol, specially for the Royal, sometimes you have to nip it in half just to get it to fit HAHA.
My eyes cried about the contact lens bit but I cant stand eyeball touching of any sort do maybe it was just for that. |

For soggy poop I sprinkle on some aspen and let it soak up for a couple of minutes then put my hand inside a small poly bag. Grab as much as possible and turn right way out. Finish with a kitchen towel to dry off.
I sometimes use a non-slotted kitchen spoon but it tends to give a certain 'je ne sais pas' to the spag-bol.  LOL!
If you had asked first before sticking your sanitized finger in your eye, one of the more experienced amongst us could have told you that it would sting.  |

I just fold some kitchen roll a few times and pick it up through that. Nappy sacks ain't a bad idea though, cheaper than kitchen roll! |

Nappy sacks are excellent, even stops the smell a little when walking through the house out to the bin. |

OOPS!! Dare I ask if you managed any sleep after all that and with the whiff lol?!
I use a slotted spoon for the larger soggier dumps but I think the bag thing is a better idea,don't know why I didn't think of it. |
