Went to order a Vivexotic viv from Surrey Pet Supplies tonight only to find that all of the vivs are now collect from store only!

I looked on their website a few days ago and they were still available for home delivery then, just wish I'd ordered the viv at the time. Looks like Barnaby is going to have to wait for his viv upgrade.

They have, I think that's the problem. They now use Interlink who obviously won't deliver bulky items for the same price that City Link did.

Let us know what they say Mamma. I've had all my equipment, vivs etc from them too.

well I am gonna email them and tell them they have lost a continuous customer. I do my monthly buy of aspen, disinfectant, etc etc from them. So its more than just buying 6 vivs so far off of them Totally disappointed by this

Knowing SPS if it costs them money they will soon be delivering!

Think swell also do a loyalty point thing as well, or at least they used to.

I ordered the viv from Swell instead and I can't fault them. Ordered at lunchtime yesterday and arrived at 9.30am this morning. Worked out at around the same price as SPS as well, so thanks Sta~ple. :-D

Seapets would have actually been slightly cheaper but I liked the guaranteed next day delivery that Swell offered.

aww man. I get all my vivs from there
Mort13 Posted - 18/01/2012 : 11:31:28

Are cheap. I got my 3ft viv for 32 quid or something but I got that on special because I had bought a viv stack from their previously.
Dancross0 Posted - 17/01/2012 : 23:22:59
That's ok!

I've never ordered anything from Seapets, but a few people on here have. Can't remember who though...

You're right, sorry. I was looking at the price of the viv and cabinet. The viv on its own is actually cheaper than SPS's online price.

Don't think that I've ever bought anything from Seapets, have you used them before?

They are a lot more expensive though. Surrey Pets were selling the VX48 for more than £40 cheaper than Seapets have it, even with delivery that's a hell of a difference.

I was talking to someone at SPS not so long ago and I think they were due to change courier companies or something like that, cant remember the specifics of it though. Maybe its just a temporary thing because I'm sure they would have sold LOADS of vivariums as their prices are good.

Wow! That's a big bummer. I wonder if it is a falling out with the original courier company.
