Opened a present and it was a lovely new hide for a lucky snakey, but I'm not sure what kind of wood its made from. My mom thinks pine? Does anyone know what Woodlands 'Thistle's Cottage' is made from?

Much thanks! xx

Also, if it is indeed pine, is there any way to um sterilise it? Like to cover it in something that would take away the danger? A paste or liquid maybe?
