As some of you might know Cola is our second snake as our first one died after a couple of weeks and just wondering if anyone else has the same problem. Well I say problem but might be just paranoid. Cola won't take mice from anyone just not interested at all unless you leave her alone in a rub. Take her out of her rub and put her into a feeding rub and then if you are in the room no feeding but if you leave the room for half an hour she will eat it. Anyone have any ideas. Or am I being paranoid and will he always eat like that or grow out of it?

Thanks Terry.

I have a kingsnake that regularly does the same.
So long as it's eating, I wouldn't worry about it.

As long as she's eating I wouldn't worry Falco was a very shy feeder at first, and has only recently started eating while we're there. I'm planning to put him in a feeding tub soon but been worried I'll put him off so he's still feeing in his faun.

Had the same problem with Jessica, had to cover and leave well alone but she is fine now, just a bit shy at first.

She is probably just a shy eater. Some snakes are like that. Think someone in this forum has to feed theirs in a RUB under a tea towel. If that's how it feeds I guess it's the way it'll have to be. As long as it eats she'll be fine.
