i read on here somewhere that creamsicle corn is not a full corn, that it is part corn and part rat snake.
wondering if this will affect the way i look after chilli or do i carry treating her as a corn? is there any difference in the way you look after the two snakes or is it basically the same,

ahhhh bless you nickinoonoo , i live in Fleet, Hampshire sooo thats quite a trek, but thank you hun.
Heres a pic of one of my baby Creamsicle babies

And my big boy that i lost

One of his last lot of babies were with my big Okettee girl in the pic and we ended up with Creamsicles and Rootbeers, i think the Rootbeer i kept could well be an Amber Rootbeer, its very pretie (its the one that has brown saddles and yellowey background)

Creamsicles look like amels bcos they are amel corns crossed wiv rat snake. There are other hybrid corns around of different colours. Rootbeer being one. I believe its a Carolina cross rat snake. They have the Carolina colouring. There are others.

I had a Ceamcicle boy, he was my first snake (unfortunatly lost him to old age this year , he was prettie big, il try and find a pic of him. I bred him 3 times and got Amels and Creamcicles out of every clutch, i noticed from all of the babies i had from him that the Creamcicles grew alot quicker and were more vigirous in feeding than the amel babies as they would take a few hrs to eat, althou all babies were feeding fine the Creamcicles just grew bigger quicker.
Ive been trying to find a Creamcicle to replace my boy for agggeeees and just cant seem to find one as some are misadvertised when there a totally diffrent colour

I wonder if you can get different kinds of creamsicle? Somewhere I read about an anery form of a hybrid and an amel. Maybe the creamsicle we see is the amel version of the hybrid, so technically it's an amel creamsicle? I don't know! Just a thought :)

In regards to Creamsicles, how do you tell them apart from the more orange amels? I see lots of 'creamsicles' that look the spitting image of my Amel Psiren!

that is correct, they are corn x great plains ratsnake hybrid. Their natural range is similar and overlaps so care is the same for either species or a hybrid of both

no treat it as a corn in regards to care and husbandry :D
