Posted - 06/10/2011 : 14:34:01 I was just browsing some google images of some corn snakes this afternoon when I came across this (Palmetto Corn Snake), I saw a photo and fell in love with it, anyway as I was just doing an image search I clicked on it and it took me off to the website... http://www.cornsnake.net/snakes-for-sale.html?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.pbv.tpl&product_id=219&category_id=231
I found it very interesting, thought I would share it with everyone...
I don't think this one will appear in any reptile shop near me for a fair few years...
Very nice though !!! |

I heard about them a year or two maybe ago but wow, did not know they were hybrids till now, what's the other half of those snakes just out of curiosity.
they are corn x emoryi, the same hybrid as rootbeer/creamsicle/etc
Do great planes ratsnake scaleless snakes exist or is it something to do with breeding them with corns that only makes the scaleless? |

Posted - 07/10/2011 : 20:51:10 They are just stunning!
I don't think $4000 is bad at all considering how rare they are. Hopefully one day I'll be able to own one, though I doubt they'll be in general circulation over here in the uk for some time yet. |

incredibly good value compared to some fat lazy slug morphs :)
dont bring royals into this, they are worth 10x some of the corn morphs
And for no reason either, I mean for that extra money they don't do the dishes or even clean up their own poop.
They are even to lazy to do that very often :P
I did genuinely laugh out loud at that!! |

Hmm i dont like it that much has anyone seen the scaleless corns yet ?
scaleless corns aren't corns, they are hybrids - the breeders seem to be keeping that bit extremely quiet which is naughty
.....and half the slug morphs look like normals
