Well it was from the darkside so I suppose you can never trust them but apparently the guy had emailed zoo med and they responded saying that they're made of cedar. The wood does smell quite nice though, not sure if it's the smell of cedar though. :p |

Posted - 02/10/2011 : 18:20:34 Apparently the Habba Huts are made of cedar according to a post I found so i've taken that out, pretty silly that Zoo Med don't tell you what wood they're made of, just says Natural Wood. |

Why have they only to be kept for 6 months? I bought one for Voldemort but he never liked it, so was planning to use it for our new hatchie when he arrives on Monday. Are they not safe after 6 months? |

Posted - 30/09/2011 : 21:41:24 Yeah. Probs a good idea. You'll need to let it dry out in the sun for bout 24hrs. Which shouldn't be a problem in this weather |

Yeah the natural wood ones, since I originally posted this topic I found a wood louse near the habba hut(luckily I hadn't put it in yet) so i'm boiling it now, the wood louse might've just been there by coincidence, they seem to like climbing around in our house but better to be safe than sorry I suppose.
