he got shy and hid (with just the head piece pealed back) when i caught him in the act (literally seconds ago, so he has possibly gone back to it)...i don't want him to be nervous so i have switched the room light off again and come downstairs to leave him to it.

I hope he lets me watch one day...

Shed looks perfect, one single piece head to tip, eye caps n all - i'll take it out in the morning to have a proper look, and have a look over him tomorrow or Friday - I'll try and get some nice new pictures up too - "proud parent moment"

That's a shame. They seem to feel particularly vulnerable when shedding so tend to prefer doing it when nobody is watching.

thats a shame, he'll probably be done by now, the trick is to watch but not let them see you watching, hopefully its a good shed for you
