Premium leaded delivered from a hand cranked pump. And before you ask, yes to the last tramcars in Glasgow.

I think there's actually been a few times that snakes have been found by non-snake owners inside engine bays and similar.
I'm sure there was one about a van a year or so back as well.

Cat is short for "Catalytic Converter" which scrubs the exhaust fumes.

@Kehhlyr. Yep! I'm that old and a slap-head with a wide parting. Old enough to remember Esso Blue as well. ;0)

A little off subject but still car/animal related..I work for VW in aftersales customer services and we had an old gentleman call up with concerns about his car, his son in law had told him that the problem was the cat and he needed to get it sorted. The poor old fellow was very confused when he finally called us as he had taken his cat to the vets and there was nothing wrong with the cat and he was very annoyed as his car still wasnt working properly! I was sat next to the girl who took the call and how she kept it together explaining to him that what his son in law meant was part of the exhaust system which is referred to as the cat i will never know! im so glad it wasnt me that got that one!!!

I remember the old days when we made do with putting a Tiger in the tank.

Glad they used some common sense and that it has been rehomed.

And in this article: http://www.themorningstarr.co.uk/2011/08/13/mechanic-finds-large-snake-coiled-up-in-car-engine/ It's grown another 2ft as well, amazing snake to grow that quickly.
