Posted - 02/08/2011 : 17:03:17 Harry is turning 1 year tomorrow (officially a yearling), he weights approx 70g, he's taking 2 fuzzies every 7 days, i have tried him with a small mouse however he just refuses, I've tried several times to increase his prey size but he just refuses, so i've gone back to feeding him 2 fuzzies.
Is he just not ready to move up a size, is it possible that the small mouse looks scary and too big (looking at the size of the mouse and harry he should manage it fine, the fuzzies no longer leave a bump after he's fed too)
Any tips on getting him to eat a small mouse or do i just continue with fuzzies for a little longer. I've tried offering 3 fuzzies but he always refuses the 3rd. |

Posted - 02/08/2011 : 18:22:25 I'm sure they will sell hoppers staple, but i have a freezer full of fuzzies (lilly's on double fuzzies too) and several small mice, might give it a few weeks and try him again. |

Posted - 02/08/2011 : 17:09:17 you just gotta continue trying/. I had problems with romeo getting him onto fluffs but a bit of patience and you will get there. I freaked when he 1st actually managed it... thought he was gonna choke etc. But he was fine xxx |
