Posted - 25/07/2011 : 18:21:33 I have just got a lovely new viv stack delivered. I have 4 vivs but only 3 of them are occupied at the moment
The question is what next. I currently have 2 corns and a royal my spec is as followed:
Should be under £300 Should stay under 8 foot
Well that's it really so anything you can think of let me know. I'll probably be buying in a couple of months but need to shop around so should really start my knowing what I want |

Posted - 26/07/2011 : 22:00:05 pugnoses - like to hide under the substrate all the time! royals - just stay hidden, great if you have a viv done out really nice and like looking at the decor!
JCP's are out on display pretty much all the time except when they're in blue boas are nosey and always peeking out

Posted - 26/07/2011 : 16:57:00 Hognoses are loads more active in the day than corns. I'm shocked by how much more! My little girl is peeping at me as I type this lol. |

Posted - 26/07/2011 : 16:45:08 i didnt like the hognose but the more i look at them the more i am warming to them. Am i right in thinking they are generally more active in the day than corns? |

Posted - 26/07/2011 : 14:53:51 my shortlist would be (in no particular order): dwarf-medium sized boa eg. a Dumerils..........*whistles* albino striped cali, tend to be out more than corns and the albino stripes look fab JCP - always out on display on branches even though i'm not a python fan housies - an under-rated species that are a bit different |

Posted - 26/07/2011 : 13:21:43 My shortlist at the moment (it is constanly changin):
Brazilian Rainbow Boa Hog nose Another Royal (Pastel maybe) mexican black kingsnake hogg island
I am thinking that if I were to get another 4 stack plus the spare viv I could get them all.
In reality though I think it is just going to be one.

Posted - 26/07/2011 : 08:00:32 I'm with Figs on the house snake front, they are beautiful snakes and have the most amazing eyes on them. Also,I have to say that although I've only had my western hognose since Sunday I am tickled pink with her. She's a proper little busy body and has the cutest little face. So yes, house snake or hognose. |
