Sadly poor Gwen, one of our ex battery hens, has passed away. We only had her with us for just over a year but she will missed by us and the other hens

So sorry to hear about her. She must have had such a good year with you though with all those wonderful sights and experiences you let her enjoy. Hen's are all such little characters, especially ExBatts, their personalities really shine. |

At least she had a good life, we took in a load of battery hens years ago, freedom is heaven for them when they get used to daylight and space, but still not easy when they pass.
