So when it gets to dinner time I just plonked Kiora in his feeding tub with his mice and he pootles over and straight away starts eating.. No striking, no constricting, no effort at all in fact...see food----eat food.
Do you think this total lack of effort and all round laziness regarding feeding himself could mean he is a boy snake???

Definatly not, my two boys both strike feed! xD
Especially on the second mouse/fuzz, I'm always worried they'll make themselves sick from constricting with a mouse already in them! XD

my little male used to stike feed , then hada regurge and now takes things slowly . my female used to like u to put it down and she wud eat it when shes good and ready . to my shock shes struck the last two times ive fed her , i almost hit the ceiling as it made me jump !

Mine used to do that, and to be honest sometimes I prefer it. It means they're much more predictable when it comes to feeding and hand feeding carries less risks then.

lol

There is no difference between my male and female corns (infact all the snakes) feeding. They are all greedy and fast!

Lol do I detect just a hint of sarcasm there? lol

I have 3 corns and they are all blimmin lazy when it comes to feeding time! Thankfully my BRB knows how to do it properly.
