Something just occured to me, we all wash/disinfect our hands after holding a snake, because of the obvious bacterial risks, but I know a lot of us like to hold our snakes whilst we're on the forum. So we're all typing and spreading potentially dangerous diseases to an already unclean place, the keyboard.
How would one go about disinfecting a keyboard?

I agree! People who spend their time putting antibacterial lotion on every exposed surface get sicker than people who just get on with it! Nothing like a few germies to build up the immune system! Fact :)

This 100%. I do wash my hands before and after handling the snake but to be honest she usually goes for a mooch on my face and head, so not too worried.

Keyboard grime is one thing but I don't want a dodgy tummy due to salmonella! Anything my snakes touch gets cleaned which is why they stay in my hands most of the time.

Meh I've not gotten ill from snakes OR keyboards yet! I'm just gonna take my chances.

Just buy a laptop with a white keyboard, you have to wash your hands before use or it soon grimes up (what was I thinking buying white, I must have been mad).
