Well, just recently Pendulum has shot up quite a nice amount in size, putting on steady weight thanks to switching from rats to mice, and last night he shed, I was just wondering if someone could refresh my memory on the accuracy of measuring their shed?
I'm almost certain it was their skin is 1inch longer per foot of snake...
But I might be wrong.

I'll try that instead Mort, the other way looks a bit too hard to get right, in a way...

I can't use it so I measure their skins and deduct 10%. Yeah, its not accurate, but its better than nowt.

Simple, quick and easy. A couple of people have mentioned odd readings from it, but my own experience I'd say it's pretty accurate.

I use the snake measuring programe to, does seam to me sometimes it comes out quiet long though. But I do still keep the sheds aswell so visually there's always something there to remind me how much they grow from one shed to the next

He's not absolutely tiny, but yeah he doesn't stop moving.
Taking pictures the other day, I nearly lost him 4-5 times on the bed
He is defintiely impossible to measure himself lol

Why not use snake measuring software lol. I think for like shed skin you have to deduct like 10/20% off.

That's very helpful lol...

its about as accurate as looking at the sky and guessing the weather for the next week.
