Just had to take Vin to be boarded while I'm away, nearly burst into tears when I left! I'm such a softy wouldn't have believed I could grow so attached to a snake! He means the world to me! All being well I'll collect a nice happy Vi in 4 weeks time

Awww thanks guys I'm posting from not-so-sunny Spain here, won't be back with Vin for 3 more weeks, missing my beautiful little man! I have special needs dogs to, love them to bits anyway though!

Luckily Mum and Dad took the furries, I know the lass will look after him great, you just kind of think no one looks after them right but you don't you? lol xx

we just got back from a two week vacay in Florida.. the housemates were kind enough to sort water out for them and as they are only being fed every 2 weeks at the moment they didn't need feeding, my mum got a friend to pop in and sort the royals and simba out for us - all 3 fed for her as well which was good (Little One is still super unpredictable!) and the chooks went to a friends house who has about 20 chooks of her own so they made some chookie friends

we did look into sending the corns to the rep shop in camden but at about £7 a day per snake it would have been rediculously expensive..

we just never go away for any length of time lol
but the snakes are only part of the excuse, we've got a 'special needs' dog, 4 cats, a horse and 2 ponies, Day geckos, a leo and hopefully soon chickens........

I had to do that when i went to New Zealand for a month. I left Cherry with a good friend, taught them how to handle and feed her and everything which they where great with (although Cherry did bite the girls fiancee literally seconds after me reassuring him she wouldn't bite!).
I did worry about her alot as it had only been a few months since having her eye removed, but apart from gaining a little extra weight (that she has now lost) they where great with her :D they even sent me photos while i was away.

Good call leaving them with a petshop!
I went away for three weeks when i first got my pair of corns. I left at home and my pal was minding them. I had taught him how to defrost and feed etc. One of them fed three times without hesitation, the other refused food every time! He ate when i offered it the day i came back! I felt so loved. Im sure vin will have a whale of a time on hols :P

I don't go away very often having 6 dogs :) but If I have to I have various friends and family they can go to luckily and I have a friend nearby who would love to care for Colin.

Vin will be fine - hugs to you.
