Posted - 27/04/2011 : 18:33:02 Had a weighing session today. And wow what a surprise!
Keith D.O.B 13/08/10 now weighs 85g (what a fatty) Frank D.O.B 14/08/10 now weighs 80g
Kevin D.O.B /10/10 now weighs 16g John D.O.B /10/10 now weighs 10g
As you can probably guess Kevin and John did not feed to begin with because they were housed incorrectly by a young teenager trying his hand breeding corns! Going to try John on a fuzzy this week (fingers cossed) as Kevin only started putting weight on when he started on fuzzies. I kept John on pinkies a little longer as he was a little smaller than Kevin.

and what would be the "right" weight for a corn just under a 2 foot, and almost 9 months old fed once every 5 days - 1 fuzzy only????
(she is doing the long pencil thing before filling out lol)
All corns are different, there is no "right" weight |

Posted - 28/04/2011 : 13:49:40 Well John managed his first fuzzy today and I have to say he seemed quite impressed with it lol. I didn't take a pic of John as I did not want to disturb him. However I did take a pic of Kevin giving his first ever constrict and wow very impressive. I will put some pics up but I took them on a phone so not great and I can't work out how to get them on the computer. Thats where having teenage sons come in handy lol. |

Posted - 27/04/2011 : 21:55:43 Christ, what a difference! My house snakes are very similar in weight (9g and 12g) and they were hatched in Jan this year!! I'm sure John and Kevin will come on leaps and bounds now. Love your snakes names. |
