Posted - 30/03/2011 : 16:17:30 Spot has been off his food for three weeks, just seems uninterested in fuzzies and even turned his mose up at a rat pup. My Boa is on small mice and it gave me an idea!
So I gave him a small mouse, he grabbed it almost instantly, threw it about in a retards constriction and gobbled it up. Seeing him eating that its apparent he could have gone up a size a while back but I am watching intently now to see the acceleration in growth. 45 grams now, can't wait to see what happens.
(I bought a new camera today too so soon I will post a few pics I took while testing the macro setting). |

Posted - 30/03/2011 : 18:41:44 I wasn't worried about him not eating. Its a snake thing to do and he only lost 1 gram. But I'm glad he is back to eating and it was amazing to watch, his head seemed so tiny compared to the huge mouse. |
