Never believed people when they said keeping snakes was an addictive hobby.....until i got my first Corn a year ago!
Loki (Carolina) has more then doubled in size since then and completely changed colour! A few months later, Isis (Snow) joined us. She's a real gentle giant. A month after that i bought home Chaos, a stunning Mexican Black king, apparently a biter but has never shown any aggression towards me. Last month i bought a new baby home, Sobek, a normal Royal Python. Hubby said 'thats it, no more snakes'.....so today i bought home a gorgeous, tiny, Reverse Okeetee Corn! Feisty little so and so, bit me 3 times just trying to put him in his faun!
Unfortunately thats all we have room for now but i'm sure i can juggle the furniture around a bit!
Will post some pics of the newbie (not named as yet) as soon as the weeks quarantine is over!

Nikki

Why not ask if you can reserve Roland, that way you know he's yours.
lotabob Posted - 13/03/2011 : 22:13:18
I will pick one up at the end of the month when I get back, I'm picking up a Boa then too.

Go on get him seems a shame to waste a great name for a rat snake like Roland do love it
lotabob Posted - 13/03/2011 : 12:17:04
I have changed my mind, not on the snake but when I can get him. I'm going away in a few weeks so I'm going to put it off until I get back. I told the guy selling him that if its still available when I get back I'll take him. Its a reluctant decision but I think its the right one to make.

Another snake to add to the collection, lol. They look pretty cool, but I'm reading up on them ASAP as I know their care is similar to a corn but not the same. I like to know what I'm getting before I get it so will decide if I know enough tomorrow.
Mort13 Posted - 12/03/2011 : 20:18:36
Yeah, you don't want to sleep on the snake or you'll be getting a flat snake instead!
lotabob Posted - 12/03/2011 : 20:14:50
Oh dear, looks like I'm getting a rat snake lol. Will sleep on it (the decision not the snake, they dont like that) and ring the guy in the morning.

Yup, hogg should be here in a few weeks.

Ok, so they are addictive but I just seem to find such good deals it's hard to say no :p

Your getting a Hogg now? Lol. Mine arrives 29th, can't wait.

Congrats.

I would just like to say that I have not found snakes to be addictive! :p
