Posted - 08/03/2011 : 23:26:53 Well Pendulum is my little Amel corn (Around 6-7 months old now) and he isn't growing in length, nor in weight really. When I first got him, he was 12 weeks old, and weighed around 20g. He was on a single pinkie a week. He is now weighing just 27-28g after 18 weeks, and a move up to small rat pups, and then large rat pups. Is it normal for him to have only put 7-8g on in 18-19 weeks? Just thought I'd check as he doesn't appear to be getting longer either, measured his sheds, first one and second one were 9 weeks apart, and there was less than 1cm difference in lengths of the sheds... Any insight into if this is quite a normal growing speed or not would be good. Thanks for reading |

Posted - 08/03/2011 : 23:36:39 No such thing as normal, some grow fast some grow slow. As far as I'm aware pups/pinkies aren't as nutritional as fuzzy mice though don't quote me on it. I know Spot had a massive groweth spurt not long after changing to fuzzies. |
