Posted - 04/03/2011 : 11:37:48 Hi everyone. Izzy is not eating.She is a corn. She/he in a 3 x 2 viv. Heating 30 degrees. She last ate 27th Jan. never had a problem before had her about 18 months she is 4 feet long last shed was Jan. very active, she has a hot end and a cold end, she is on xl mice, sorry havent done her weight lately. I call her a female but she may be male, so do you think it is hormones. Keeps looking as if to say plse feed me. I try everyother day. Have got all the stuff out of viv to see if she will feed in there, always feed out of viv. Do I need to panic. Thx |

Posted - 04/03/2011 : 12:22:25 Certainly sounds like hormonal behaviour and, as said, I wouldn't bother trying every other day. You are going to waste alot of mice. Stick to you usual feeding day or maybe increase the gap until he starts eating again. |

Posted - 04/03/2011 : 11:46:51 with out asking lots of questions it hard to say but the main thing is dont worry id say it could just be the time of year, its bredding seasson an a few people have snakes that are off there food right now. if shes on xl mice then im assuming shes a good weight anyway. snakes can go months without food. id say dont waste food trying every other day just try once a week or even 2 weekly |
