I'm having problems keeping my cool sides temperature up, what's the best way to keep it at the right temperature? Im using a heat mat which is covering about 1/3 of my 2x1 foot viv.

don't worry about the cool side, your snake will move over if he gets too cold

What is the cool end temp?

I wouldn't worry too much as long as the warm end is at the right temp. If the snake is cold he will move.

Other than placing the viv in the wamrest room in the house, there isn't much can be done.
