we got followed by a gsxr 1000 with akrapovic xausts and carbon wheels lol! just had "kent police" on it in a couple of places! good luck out runnig that! haha! the unfortunate truth is, you could be Valentino Rossi but if you ride past a spike camera, your still knackered!

I second this,you can always spot a car driver that rides bikes too. I passed both my car and bike test within a few weeks of each other. Was only interested in bikes though so that was my transport for years. Now its a car that I use due to having the kids.
So yes,get a bike have some fun,get to some rallies and bike meets and with the money you save from paying less tax etc you can put towards car lessons.  |

yep. bike bike bike bike bike! i ride 365 days a year and have never really driven a car! true, winter isnt great but its nothing a pair of heated grips wont cure! plus bikes are cheaper to tax, fuel, work on, MOT AND they are faster and much sexier! bike bike bike bike bike! |

theres nothing stopping you riding a scooter whilst doing your driving lessons as you can ride a scooter on a provisional. |

I started out on a 125 scotter back in the day, great fun, but when kids and responsibilty came along the old 5 door estate is much handier, wouldnt like to pick my missus up from asda on a bike with all those bags and 2 nippers in tow. |

bikes are great, but not so good in the winter. do your bike first, get mobile, then do your car, at least you will have an appreciation for bikers then. |
