Posted - 22/02/2011 : 22:24:56 that height would be wasted on a pacman frog, I'd be tempted by a couple of small dart frogs or fire belly toads. |

Posted - 22/02/2011 : 22:14:51 I'm not too sure on frogs, but I don't see why a leopard gecko for example would need anything bigger than a 1x1x1. Provided it has water bowl, heat source, hide and perhaps a damp hide for when it sheds it should be OK. You could even maybe build 2 layers? Like put a shelf in, a gecko isnt really heavy so it wouldnt have to be as re enforced as a snakes would. Then it will have a cool layer and warm below. Might be a good idea. |

Posted - 22/02/2011 : 21:57:30 Ahh not good for a Chameleon then. And I wouldn't waste a good exo terra viv on mice. They are fairly expensive to buy, so maybe your best bet would be to sell it and buy just a fish tank for mice, plus you would fit more in. Or get something to go inside it. You need to measure it though so give people a better idea of what will fit bud :) |

Posted - 22/02/2011 : 21:01:55 Doubt you'd find an amphibian that can be handled to be honest.. Many of them have delicate skin containing oils which a human hand can damage without the right protective gloves (Phib keepers correct me..)
have a look at www.theamphibian.co.uk |
