I'd just come back from the petshop just to top up on some sizes mice before I order on-line...Don't think I will be treating the b/f to anything special on valentines day now XD 5 Is definitely enough for me right now XD

I'm at home all day so not a prob. we also have a relative that's great with them that house sits if we go away. The amount you had mike sounds scary but amazing but I think there is nothing wrong with a few more.

I think there is very definitely a point where enough is enough, especially if you work full time and are more or less on your own, as in no one else will touch them.
This time last year, almost, I had 60 odd adults and near on 100 babies, that was too much, a day to feed and clean, a proper day, 14 hours plus.
Keeping a lot of corns is one thing, a relatively easy thing, but lots of different species is more tricky, much more fun, but tricky.
Also, if you have only kept corns and kings, I strongly recommend you don't go down the gtp route, its an expensive snake to have die on you. They are far from simple to keep alive!!

However, if you want more then go for it, its nice to walk into the room and have lots of faces to greet you, true they only want food, but never the less, they all say hello!! Keeping varied species is good too, you can see first hand how they differ in general attitude, habits etc.
I get greeted by Mrs anery motley everytime I go in there, I open her viv and she charges over with her mouth half open, I can almost hear her shouting 'foooooooooooood' at the same time! She stops when she gets to me, realises its not what she hoped, and kinda does the 'oh, its you' thing, and goes back in.
Not really a greeting, but she doesn't bite me, and is funny to see peoples reaction to her.

You have a point
I don't think there it is possible to have too many.
Provided you have the space, money and time to look after them all equally.
Then you can't get too many

Luckily for me I can get as many as I want as it's just me and my daughter :) Currently have 7 with another on the way in 10 days.

The cabinet I have turned into a rub rack can fit 12 rubs so I may stop at 12 lol
