I too have a 7 month old and approx 8 month old and they are both on single fuzzies still.
How often do you feed them?

It is a lot to be feeding them in 7 days. I have a six month old who takes 1 a week.

(If you want some specific advice on royals and you haven't already found it, www.theroyalpython.co.uk is great.)

Well Norman and leia have now eaten 3 fuzzies each. Just have to wait for killmouskie to settle in and feed him his rats

Thanks all for the information provided Dave

Also if you could answer the questions on the sticky in the introductions section, it might give us some more info as well.
Cheers.

As dooglle has said its early days, give it a 5-7 days to settle without any handling and try again

I know it fed on the 21st but when did you pick it up? Some snake really do need time to settle in and wont feed till it feels safe and secure as if they are full of food they are slow and vulnerable so they need to feel like the viv is their home!

Oh and some are just greedy and will eat anywhere and anytime! LOL

Snakes can go along time without food so you have nothing at all to worry about yet! Try warming the mouse with a hair dryer as snakes usually take warm food a lot easier!

If not just let it settle in and it will eat when ready!
